I then took a look at the scheduled tasks and the update task showed failed - Black list of sites corrupted. I don't have a screen shot of the message, but it would be where you see Update, etc. The 8 can be substituted with 10 of course if you are running KES I left the sub directories intact.
I then went back into the KES application and manually started the Database update. Right Click update and then click Start Update.
