I have already tried this approach. Yes, my computer is connected. Instead, Windows tries to find and install the driver for the i, and fails every time. When I look in my device manager, under "Other Devices" the SCH-i is listed, but with an exclamation point on it ie it needs a driver.

I do not have a driver disk for the phone, and have not been able to track down the driver online, at least not one that seems to work on this PC. I'm guessing the lack of driver installing has something to do with WMDC not downloading? Laura Rooke.
