The platform's Bluetooth profile has already been published online, and all the components necessary for wireless file transfer are present on the list. This does not necessarily mean that Bluetooth file transfer will come to existing WP smartphones with the Windows Phone 7. As a side note, WP7 users aren't totally out of luck as a third-party app allows transfer of photos over Bluetooth. It is called PictureSwap and you can go check it out at the Windows Phone Marketplace, in case you absolutely need to have that feature.
Here is how to do it. This will also work on Windows This normally happens in some computers. This is the available options on my Bluetooth menu on Windows 8. I do not have the option to receive or send files from this menu.
Why is this? I wanted to add a cropped picture of my laptop Win 8. Anyway, I get the same menu window as showed in your examples, however I have no send or receive options.
Nowhere in any of the settings windows do I have a receive option, I do however have a send in one of the windows. Not much useful if you intend to receive a file. Any ideas? This thread is locked.
